How to contact:
I was born in Sulphur Springs, Texas. My mom and many of my relatives still reside there.
What is a day at work like?
Being a locum recruiter is an interesting occupation. As a recruiter, my job is to source candidates for the contracted locum jobs the account managers send to us. There is incredible competition in this role and industry. I spend my day building trust with providers to the best of my ability so they’ll pay attention to the jobs I send them and continue to want to work with me.
What do you like most about your job?
My hard work will pay off; that is what I like most. This job is not an eight to five job to me. Sourcing candidates, building trust with providers and account managers, and doing my best to fulfill my commitment as a recruiter will allow me to provide for my family. That is everything to me.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Germany would likely be my country of choice, and I'd like to live in the city of Hamburg.
Tell us a bit about your family (furry friends are family, too)
My life outside of work is the best. I am a proud single mother of four children – three girls and a boy. My two oldest will be moving to Colorado and Ohio soon and are phenomenal young ladies. My two youngest are responsible, wonderful people who keep me busy and going. I also have a daughter by choice who is from Germany, and she is amazing. In addition, I have significant others in my life who are as close as family, and they light up my life. And, we have a dog named Murray who is precious and a cat named Sunny who is a stinker.
Who is your favorite author?
I find very little time to read entertaining books – in addition to working full-time and rearing a family, I am working on a Master's Program. So, I suppose my favorite authors are my children – they are good writers, and their work is about all I have time to enjoy.
What food do you crave the most?
Iced coffee is not a food – but, it's what I crave.
What's your favorite time of the year?
Spring. I love the weather, the rain showers, and the way everything comes to life.
If you were to die and come back as a person, place, or thing, what would it be?
I would come back as Denzel Washington. No lie.
Tell us your favorite quote, and tell us who said it if you can.
“Be a fruit loop in a world of cheerios."
What living person do you most admire?
My mom survived cancer and liver disease. She still fights for her life due to her chronic illness. Also, she has never let me down. When you need a friend, my mom is the person to call.
What quality do you most admire in people?
People that have a good work ethic and live by a loving code of ethics are people I admire.
How would you spend your ideal evening?
That is simple – I would have a quiet evening at home and get a really good night's sleep.
We will respond as soon as possible.
