Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Honolulu, HI and raised in Red Bluff, CA (about 2 hours south of the Oregon border)

Do have pets? If so, tell us about them.
I have a 2-year-old Chocolate Lab/ Aussie mix named Murphy, who is more like a cat than he is a dog, and two cats named Chris and Emma who are lazy house cats who pretty much rule our house.

Who is your favorite author, and why?
Honestly, I have way too many to list. I’m currently splitting my time between Phillipa Gregory (The Lady of The River) and Colleen Hoover (Verity); but James Patterson is always amazing! I love reading books rooted in history, and books that keep me guessing and on the edge of my seat.

What is your favorite type of food, and why?
I LOVE authentic Mexican food…I was spoiled growing up in California, and now living in Maryland, I don’t have access to it!

What is your funniest pet peeve?
I didn’t have an answer for this one, so I asked my husband and eldest daughter, Isabella. My husband said it’s my pets cleaning themselves (OMG, it’s like nails on a chalkboard), Bella says that its people whispering in my ear (which is absolutely true, but of course my kids do it just to drive me crazy!).

What is your favorite website, and why?
I’m a lover of Pinterest. Mostly because I love experimenting with different recipes, and you can’t find a better resource for decorating ideas and random inspiration!

Where is your favorite vacation destination, and why?
Anywhere there is Disney is where I want to be! My Mother-In-Law worked at Disneyland until this past April, and our family would go down to visit a few times a year. This past March, our family took our first trip together to Disney World, which was AMAZING!!! We’re actually going back in December to celebrate our eldest daughter’s 18th birthday!

What is your favorite sports team?
The Angels!! I’m a huge baseball fan! And who doesn’t love Mike Trout and Shohei Ohtani!?!

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Getting my nails done every two weeks. It’s really the only thing I do for myself. My husband (bless him) added it into our wedding vows… mostly because he loves the back scratches.
