Vascular Surgery Locum – North Dakota
License Status Required – Yes and IMLC is accepted
Certifications Required (BLS/ATLS/PALS etc.) – BC, ACLS
Shift times- 8 regular hours Mon-Fri (clinic, scheduled OR cases), night call, and 24-hr weekend call w/ gratis hrs included. Anticipated that they will have one full day of clinic and one full day of scheduled OR cases each full week. Other days will be a mix of coverage.

Census- Average of 11 on clinic days and 1-2 on OR days

Types of Cases Seen Daily? Vascular Skill Requirements: 1. Open vascular procedures: required 2. Endovascular procedures: required 3. Venous procedures: required 4. EVAR/TEVAR: required 5. Carotid Endarterectomy: required 6. Peripheral Bypass: required 7. Thrombectomy/Embolectomy: required 8. Dialysis Access: preferred 9. Any complex aortic work: preferred 10. TCAR: preferred 11. Laser blain ablations: preferred 12. Carotid Artery Stenting, Transfemoral: preferred 13. Carotid Duplex: preferred 14. Intracranial Diagnostic Angiography: preferred
What does a typical day look like? Provider will hold the pager for the full duration of their assignment (paid/scheduled as a 9-hr regular day plus night call). 18 exam rooms in Clinic, can admit to anywhere in hospital. Rounding: Assigned Patients & Admissions: currently 4-6/week (will grow)
