What is a day at work like?
My days are busy because I wear many hats. The increase in schedules keeps me busy entering them into DMS. There are days when the phone and door bell ringing keep me going, but I love that my day goes quickly because I do so many different things.
What do you like most about your job?
I wear many different hats at Interim. I answer phones and greet people at the door throughout the day. I do extensive work with entering schedules into DMS and reviewing exhibits to make sure rates match extensions and are properly documented.
Tell us a bit about your family (furry friends are family, too)
I have a son and a daughter, and two granddaughters. My daughter is expecting her first child in November and it’s a boy! I am really looking forward to another grandbaby.
Who is your favorite author?
Danielle Steel. Hey, what woman doesn’t like a good romance novel?
Who is your favorite actor?
Sidney Poitier. I know a lot of the younger employees here may not know who he is but he played in one of my favorite movies, “To Sir with Love.”
What food do you crave the most?
The food I crave most is Domino’s Buffalo Chicken Pizza.
What is your greatest fear or pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve would be drivers. They have changed so much over the years and are now just rude and inconsiderate. Texting and driving is now a common thing and nobody wants to give another driver a break.
What’s your favorite time of the year?
Autumn because of all beautiful colors on the trees and the cool weather.
What is your greatest extravagance (or guilty pleasure)?
Ghirardelli chocolates
