Where were you born and raised?
Union, MO, a small-ish town just outside of St. Louis.
What is a day at work like for you?
One word, spreadsheets! All day every day!
What do you like most about your job?
I don’t like my job, I love it! I love my coworkers and my actual job duties. At Interim Physicians, we have the best owner, he is always appreciative of us and what we do, providing healthcare where none may be available.
Do you have pets? If so, tell us about them:
I have one dog, DeeDee Marie she is a 10 year old, red haired, Beagador (beagle/lab). I have 2 cats, Pip Michelle, a tuxedo cat, is 10 years old and River Margaret, a Blue Russian, is about 6. I have one grandcat, Cleo Ann, she is a Japanese Bobtail and is about 6 also.
Who is your favorite author, and why?
This one is tough! I’ve always been a book nerd. Some of my favorites are Colleen Hoover, Mary Higgins Clark, and V. C. Andrews. My daughter inherited my love of reading 10-fold, often reading a novel every couple of days.
What is your favorite type of food, and why?
Seafood and mushrooms. I don’t really know why but unfortunately my children did NOT inherit my love for seafood and most definitely not for mushrooms. I often made a separate meal for myself because they wouldn’t eat mine.
What is your favorite website, and why?
Amazon. You can find ANYTHING on Amazon and have it within a couple of days!
What is your favorite sports team?
My favorite MLB team is the St. Louis Cardinals and NFL is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Up until this past year I would have told you my favorite NBA team was Golden State but now that my nephew-in-law plays for the Atlanta Hawks, I have to say Atlanta!
What is your favorite type of music, and why?
Music is one thing that can take you back to a specific time and a specific place. I guess if I have to pick a favorite type it would be old-school R&B. It has so much soul and meaning. Fun fact, I played the violin for many years. I haven’t played in a long time now but I do pull it out every now and again.
What is your greatest guilty pleasure?
Spending an entire day in pajamas watching TV.
