What is a day at work like?
I like to call it organized chaos! Every day is different and I never know what lies ahead when I’m driving into work. That being said, I love to stay busy, and I love interacting with my coworkers, colleagues, and clients. I’ve been doing it for a while now so it’s like second nature. Oh yeah, and I enjoy my hour of lunch at the gym every day!
What do you like most about your job?
Building long-term trusting relationships with my clients. In an industry where relationships and trust are just about everything, I truly enjoy assisting my clients with their needs and making sure that they know I have their best interest in mind.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I’m all about the warm weather/beaches, year round. Trust me I’m already scouting out islands that I can retire on (don’t tell my wife). I’d like something still close enough to take a short flight home to visit family…let’s start with Belize.
Tell us a bit about your family (furry friends are family, too)
Me and my beautiful wife, Jennifer, celebrated the birth of our first child (Jett) on July 24, 2019. Our “other baby,” Josie Mae (our lab), isn’t nearly as happy about Jett, but we love spending time outdoors and still do our best to keep up with Jo.
What is your favorite website? (Google doesn’t count)
ESPN.COM – no brainer, gotta keep up on my sports.
What talent would you most like to have?
Wish I was handier around the house. I’m literally terrible. The last time I tried to fix a light I fell off a chair and landed on my back. My wife died laughing (after she realized that I didn’t break my back)…I give up.
If you were to die and come back as a person, place, or thing, what would it be?
I’d come back as my dog – she has it made.
What is your greatest extravagance (or guilty pleasure)?
Potato chips! Anyone who knows me knows that I’m strict about my diet almost 24/7, but you put a bag of chips in front of me and turn your head the other way…they’re GONE!
What living person do you most admire?
My mother. She is genuinely the most kind-hearted, giving, forgiving, loving person I’ve ever met. I can’t think of one person she’s ever encountered who wouldn’t tell you the same.
What quality do you most admire in people?
I love people who are willing to give and help others who are less fortunate.
How would you spend your ideal evening?
Going to the gym, then a steak dinner on a rooftop patio somewhere with my wife. Good weather, good drinks, and close friends.
