Where were you born and raised?
St Louis, Missouri
What is a day at work like for you?
One of the great things about locums is that my day unfolds by the moment. It’s almost impossible to predict what’s going to happen each day when I arrive.
What do you like most about your job?
I have a great passion for helping people solve their problems and making connections that are mutually beneficial. I really enjoy coming through for clients/physicians that are relying on me (and our team) to solve their problems. It gives me a great deal of satisfaction.
Do you have pets? If so, tell us about them:
Yes – we have our family dog, Josie. She’s a Lab mix and I always tell my wife “She’s the glue that brings our family together”. I’ve loved watching her life evolve and now becoming a part of our children’s lives.
Who is your favorite author, and why?
This is the NOT SO FUN fact about me: I’m not much of a reader.
What is your favorite type of food, and why?
STEAK! Could it eat every single meal.
What is your favorite website, and why?
If I just need a break from all of the chaos of life/work, ESPN is a pretty good one where I can scroll and catch up on all of the games that I no longer have time to watch 🙂
Where is your favorite vacation destination, and why?
Hawaii! I’ve visited 3 of the islands so far and absolutely fell in love with all three of them, in their own uniqueness. That’s my paradise and I’m looking forward to returning and learning more about some of the other islands.
What is your greatest extravagance (or guilty pleasure)?
Potato chips! Anyone who knows me knows that I’m strict about my diet almost 24/7, but you put a bag of chips in front of me and turn your head the other way…they’re GONE!
What is your favorite sports team?
I’m still a die-hard St Louis Blues fan. I’ve lived away from St Louis for over 10 years now but my LOVE for that team will never fade.
How would you spend an ideal evening?
With my family, at home, grilling out and hanging in the pool. Nothing beats a solid night with the family.
