Locum Emergency Medicine Physician – Northwest Oklahoma
License Status Required – Yes
Certifications Required (BLS/ATLS/PALS etc.) – BC & ACLS, PALS, BLS ATLS
Shift times- 6a-6a 24/hour shift (2-5 days stints)
Dates- 8/17 – ongoing (need 2 FTE)
Census- 11-18 PPD
EMR- EPIC
Credentialing Timeframe? 2 weeks (clean files needed)
What does a typical day look like? Hybrid role- if they get over 18 pts they will bring NP – NP is on call. providers will also round on the inpatient unit as well as covering the ED. The majority of traffic on the inpatient floor is due to their Swing Bed Program. Swing bed patients are seen once per week. CT, XRAY, some US and Labs 24/7 & Mobile MRI comes on Friday. Need to be comfortable with ER and Hospitalist. The ED has 6 beds available.
